Pour Decisions Craft ("Pour Decisions", "we", "us") runs craft coffee and craft beer shops in San Jose, Fremont, Mountain View and Campbell, California, and Houston, Texas. This policy explains what we collect through the Pour Decisions Craft mobile app and its web version (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The App is published by San Jose Pour Decisions LLC.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your mobile phone number. It is how you sign in, and it is how our rewards program recognizes you in our shops.
- Your name, and your email address if you choose to add one.
- Order details: items, customizations, notes, pickup location and time, tips and totals.
- Gift card numbers you add to the App or that we issue to you in the App.
Information created as you use the App
- Your rewards points balance, points history and member tier.
- Order status and order history.
- If you turn on notifications, a push notification token for your device and its platform (iOS, Android or web).
- Basic technical logs kept by our hosting providers, including IP address, used for security, troubleshooting and to stop abuse of sign-in codes.
What we do not collect
The App does not access your location, contacts, photos or camera, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics trackers. Card payments are entered on Square's secure checkout page, so we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To take and prepare your pickup orders and tell you when they are ready.
- To send you one-time sign-in codes by text message.
- To run our rewards program and gift cards, including points you earn in our shops.
- To answer your questions and fix problems with orders.
- To send news, events and offers by push notification if you allow notifications. You can turn them off at any time in the App or in your device settings.
- To keep the App secure, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the App and our shops, and only for that purpose:
- Square: payments, point of sale, customer directory, rewards and gift cards.
- Twilio: delivering sign-in codes by text message.
- Expo: delivering push notifications.
- Vercel and Neon: hosting the App's servers and database.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff or business, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is active. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and sign-in request logs are deleted after 7 days. We keep purchase and payment records as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile, then Delete account) or on the web at api.pourdecisionscraft.com/account/delete. Deleting your account removes your App profile, sign-in, notification tokens and App order history.
Purchase records, rewards points and gift card balances held in our point of sale system are business records that also cover your visits to our shops, so we keep them to make sure your in-store rewards and gift card balances are not lost. If you would like those removed too, email hello@
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and Texas, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it). To make a request, email hello@
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Some of our shops serve alcohol; you must be 21 or older with valid ID to buy alcoholic drinks.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and established service providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and its text messages protected.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and let you know in the App.
